Sri Lanka have named former Durham head coach Jon Lewis as their new batting coach.
Lewis, 48, will begin his new role after the upcoming two-Test series against New Zealand - which begins on Sky Sports Cricket on Friday - in time for the ODI series.
"With his expertise and experience, I believe, Lewis will be able to bring in the required impetus to our batting, which needs stability," Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva said in a statement.
Lewis - who succeeds Thilan Samaraweera - will be part of the Sri Lanka set-up until the end of the 2019 World Cup.
Earlier this month his 22-year spell at Durham came to an end following a review of cricket operations by new director of cricket Marcus North and chief executive Tim Bostock.
