South Africa will be able to call upon Dale Steyn and Quinton de Kock as they look to take a 2-1 lead in their five-match ODI series against Pakistan at Centurion on Friday.
Seamer Steyn and wicketkeeper-batsman De Kock were rested for the first two matches - Pakistan's five-wicket win in Port Elizabeth and South Africa's success by the same margin in Durban - after helping the Proteas to a 3-0 sweep in the preceding Test series.
But the duo have been added to the squad for the clash at SuperSport Park as well as the fourth and fifth fixtures in Johannesburg and Cape Town respectively, along with uncapped left-arm quick Beuran Hendricks, who is uncapped in ODIs but has played seven T20Is.
Duanne Olivier - who picked up 24 wickets at 14.70 in the Test series - Heinrich Klaasen and Dane Paterson have dropped out of the Proteas' party.
Pakistan's build-up to the game has been marred by skipper Sarfraz Ahmed using alleged racist terminology towards South Africa all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo in Tuesday's match, in which Phehlukwayo took four wickets and hit an unbeaten 69.
Sarfraz issued a general apology on Twitter but insisted his remarks were not directed to anyone in particular.
"I wish to extend my sincere apologies to any person who may have taken offence from my expression of frustration which was unfortunately caught by the stump mic during yesterday's game against SA," he wrote.
"My words were not directed towards anyone in particular and I certainly had no intention of upsetting anyone. I did not even mean for my words to be heard, understood or communicated to the opposing team or the cricket fans.
"I have in the past and will continue in future to appreciate the camaraderie of my fellow cricketers from across the globe and will always respect and honour them on and off the field."
Sarfraz's 90-run stand with Hasan Ali for the ninth wicket had propelled Pakistan from 112-8 to 203 all out at Kingsmead, before the tourists reduced South Africa to 80-5.
However, Phehlukwayo and Rassie van der Dussen (80) not out combined for an unbroken stand of 126 to draw the Proteas level.
