Cricket World Cup: Paul Collingwood eyes England scalp with Scotland

Paul Collingwood says he cannot wait for Scotland’s clash with England at next year’s Cricket World Cup.
With 100 days to go to the tournament in Australia and New Zealand, Collingwood, who has been drafted in as Scotland’s coach, has begun plotting England’s downfall.
Former England Test batsman Collingwood is England’s most-capped one-day player of all time and captained the side to the Twenty20 World Cup in 2010.
And with England and Scotland having been drawn together in Group A, Collingwood said: “For myself, it’s going to be biggest tie of tournament.
“Every game for Scotland will be big but the England game will be huge. And if Scotland can win against top opposition it will be a huge stride forward for them.
Everyone wants to win the World Cup. It’s extremely hard to win but you want it on your CV.
“England never have obviously never won it so these players will be desperate to make it theirs. If England hit the straps, they’ve got players that can hurt opposition.”
The Cricket World Cup 2015 begins on February 14 and the whole tournament will be live on Sky Sports.
