Northants sign Shahid Afridi for T20 Finals Day

Northants have confirmed they will have Shahid Afridi available for the Natwest T20 Blast Finals Day.
The Pakistan star, known as 'Boom Boom', played for the Steelbacks in the earlier stages of the competition but it was unclear if he would return for the finals.
However his inclusion in the squad has now been agreed and he will feature in the first semi-final at Edgbaston, against Birmingham at 11am.
Head coach David Ripley said of Afridi's return: "Tomorrow is a big stage and Afridi is a big-stage player. He was playing some of his best cricket when he left us so for me, he's another match winner to put in the line-up."
Afridi, 35, will add crucial experience to the Northants side as they bid to win the title for the second time in the space of three years.

Following his spell at Wantage Road earlier in the summer, Afridi played for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League and captained Pakistan to a 2-0 T20 series win over Sri Lanka.
