Tino Best, Ravi Bopara, Liam Livingstone, Ross Taylor and Philip Salt have been given penalties for indiscipline in recent county matches.

Hampshire fast bowler Best was reported by umpires Martin Saggers and Neil Bainton during the NatWest T20 Blast match against Essex on 24 June, and was found guilty of a Level Two offence - throwing the ball at or near a player, umpire or official in an inappropriate and dangerous manner.

Essex all-rounder Bopara was reported by the umpires during the same match for dissent against a decision - also a Level Two breach. Both men were given three penalty points.

Lancashire batsman Livingstone was reported by umpires Jeff Evans and Graham Lloyd during the NatWest T20 Blast match against Worcestershire on June 24, for a Level One breach of showing dissent.

Sussex batsmen Taylor and Salt were both reported by umpires Michael Gough and Russell Evans during the NatWest T20 Blast match against Gloucestershire on 26 June for the same offence. All three were given a reprimand.

The penalties remain on their records for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.
