Surrey have announced the signing of all-rounder Rikki Clarke from Warwickshire on a two-year deal to take effect next season.
The 35-year-old represented Surrey for seven years, making his debut in 2001, and will leave the Edgbaston club when his contract finishes at the end of the current season.
He has since gone on to play for Derbyshire and most prominently for Warwickshire, where he has won all three domestic competitions including the One-Day Cup in 2016.
Clarke, who started his career with Surrey, said: "I've had nine very good years at Warwickshire and would like to thank everyone there - but I'm really excited to be coming home to Surrey.
"I've always said that the crest on the front lives longer than the name on the back and having started at nine years of age I'm delighted to be coming home and joining a young and talented side."
Alec Stewart, Surrey's director of cricket, said: "I'm very pleased to have brought Rikki back to Surrey CCC. As a product of the club's academy, he's one of our own who has come home.
"I was disappointed when he left the club back in 2007, but it's great to see him come back to The Oval."
Ashley Giles, Warwickshire sport director, described Clarke as a "great servant" during his nine-year stay.
"We thank him for his contribution to Warwickshire and Birmingham Bears over the last nine seasons and everyone at the club wishes him the very best in the remainder of his playing career with Surrey," he told the club's official website.
"We are very much in a transition period as we look to rebuild the squad to challenge across all formats."
