Matthew Fleming named new MCC president

Former Kent and England all-rounder Matthew Fleming will take over as MCC president in October.
Fleming, 51, will be the youngest man to take the role since Peter May in 1980 and replaces Roger Knight in the role.
Fleming made 219 first-class appearances for his county and played 11 one-day internationals, while he is currently serving as chairman of MCC's prestigious cricket committee.
He has also represented the organisation on the England and Wales Cricket Board's board of directors since 2009.
"I am very honoured and very humbled to be asked to follow in the footsteps of some of the most extraordinary people ever involved in the game," said Fleming.
"Cricket around the world faces unique challenges and opportunities, and MCC has a vital part to play at a local, national and international level.
"I have always believed that MCC's role within cricket is to support where necessary and lead where required, and working alongside Derek Brewer and the team I look forward to combining my role as chairman of MCC Cricket with the presidency of this great club."
MCC owns Lord's and is responsible for the laws of the game.
