Somerset's long-serving batsman James Hildreth has signed a new four-year contract which runs until the end of the 2021 season.
The 32-year-old has amassed more than 21,000 runs since joining in 2003, recording 39 first-class hundreds with a top score of 303 not out.
Hildreth, who is celebrating his testimonial season, told the club's official website: "Obviously I'm delighted to have committed my future to Somerset.
"I love playing for the club and honestly can't imagine playing anywhere else. The next few years are going to be really exciting for Somerset and I'm thrilled that I'll be a part of that.
Somerset's director of cricket Matt Maynard added: "Hildy is an outstanding professional and epitomises everything that this club is about. The way he goes about his business is first class and he's a very tough individual as was evident last year when he played on with a fractured ankle. He still has a tremendous amount to offer this club."
