Derbyshire have signed New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner as an overseas player for the second half of the 2018 county season.
Slow left-armer Santner, currently top of the ICC's Twenty20 bowling rankings, will be available throughout Derbyshire's Vitality Blast campaign and also for their last seven Specsavers County Championship matches.
The 26-year-old was Worcestershire's leading T20 wicket-taker last season and helped New Zealand reach the semi-finals of the 2016 ICC World T20.
Santner is also a handly middle-order batsman, with 90 international caps across all three formats.
He said: "I'm looking forward to joining Derbyshire. It's an ambitious club which wants to continue to progress, and I hope I can play my part."
