From full-length dives to terrific team efforts, there have some brilliant catches in 2016. But which was the best?

We've looked back over the past 12 months to find some real belters worthy of winning any match.

The year started with England's James Taylor showing his astonishing reflexes to take a one-handed grab at short leg to remove South Africa's Dane Vilas on the third day of the third Test in Johannesburg, and ended with Jos Buttler flinging himself to his left to take a magnificent diving catch, millimetres from the turf - with a whole host of remarkable efforts in between.
