Ellyse Perry has been named as Wisden’s 2016 Leading Woman Cricketer in the World.
Perry becomes the second Australian to scoop the accolade after Meg Lanning won the inaugural women's award in 2014.
The Australian all-rounder enjoyed another fabulous year with bat and ball, both internationally and domestically.
In 2016, Perry claimed her career-best T20 bowling figures, taking 4-12 against India, before helping Australia reach the ICC Women's World T20 final where they lost out to the West Indies.
The 26-year-old captained Sydney Sixers to the final of the inaugural Women's Big Bash League [WBBL], before helping the side go one better to win the WBBL's second edition over the winter. Perry was also a National Cricket League final winner with New South Wales.
Wisden notes: "Australia's leading all-rounder seemed to be operating on another level in 2016.
"She averaged 81 with the bat in one-day internationals, extending her sequence since the start of 2014 to 17 half-centuries in 23 innings - a record for either gender.
"She twice equalled her career-best (55*) in Twenty20 internationals, and was always a threat with the ball."
Cricket lovers in England will have the chance to see Perry play in the flesh later this year during the ICC Women's World Cup this summer.
