Boom Boom Afridi hit three sixes in one over but Pakistan fell three runs short of England's score to lose the T20I series.
The Pakistan captain hit 24 from only eight balls, following up figures of 3-15 earlier in the game as England set the hosts 173 in Friday's second T20 contest in Dubai.
Afridi's opposite number Jos Buttler - back in the side as captain, replacing the rested Eoin Morgan - hit three sixes himself in a 22-ball 33, and affected two stumpings in another stellar outing.
