Mohammad Amir is fit to face England in the first Test at Lord's, Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has confirmed.
The 26-year-old, who has taken 100 Test wickets at an average of 32.87, has struggled with a "chronic" knee injury which flared up during Pakistan's five-wicket win over Ireland earlier this month.
Amir was rested for the two-day warm-up match against Leicestershire, which ended in a draw on Sunday, but Arthur insists the seam bowler has fully recovered in time for the first Test, which gets underway on Thursday - live on Sky Sports Cricket.
"He's perfect, 100 per cent. He's fine and ready to go," said Arthur.
"We just sat him out that [warm-up game] because it was his rotation. (Mohammad) Abbas sat out the first game, Hasan (Ali) sat out the second game so he sat out the third."
Pakistan held England to a 2-2 draw in their last Test series in England in 2016 and Arthur believes his current crop of players are good enough to cause an upset at Lord's.
"Of course we can," said Arthur. "We haven't come here not to win. It is a changing room full of very skilled cricketers. Young, fearless cricketers.
"Guys that don't fear failure. They are intelligent, a skilful bunch of cricketers and if we get the breaks and things go our way we'll certainly put England under pressure."
