Ajax have agreed a fee with Uruguayan club Nacional to sign promising youngster Nicolas Lodeiro.

Ajax have agreed a fee with Uruguayan club Nacional to sign promising youngster Nicolas Lodeiro.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has not yet completed his move from South America, but a deal has been reached between the two clubs.
Dutch outfit Ajax will sign Lodeiro for €4million, plus a 15 per cent sell-on clause, in the January transfer window.
Nacional revealed news of the transfer on their website, with club president
Ricardo Alarcon saying: "It is a milestone, something historical."
Lodeiro, who won his first senior Uruguay caps in the World Cup play-off victory over Costa Rica last November, will link up with compatriot Luis Suarez at the Amsterdam Arena.
Ajax are currently third in the Dutch top flight and are trying to gun-down pace setters PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente.
