Ajax have signed Samuel Kuffour on a free transfer from Roma.
Roma have allowed Kuffour to leave as he is well down the pecking order at the Stadio Olimpico.
Kuffour has inked a short-term deal until the end of the season with the option for another two years with Ajax.
The former Bayern Munich star will help fill the void left by Jaap Stam's retirement.
