All-Ireland champions Limerick have named a strong team for the visit of Tipperary on Saturday night, with Conor Boylan set for a league debut.
The Na Piarsaigh youngster is an exciting talent, and has been tipped to break into the Treaty side this season. After playing in the Munster Senior League, Boylan has been handed an opportunity to impress from the start as the Premier come to town.
The other selection of note is the return of Kevin Downes. The big full forward has had cruciate troubles in recent years. Playing a central role in Na Piarsaigh's run to the All-Ireland final last year may have been detrimental to his intercounty chances as he missed out on the league campaign, and was an unused substitute for much of the summer.
Otherwise, John Kiely has gone with tried and tested, with 11 of the side that started last August's All-Ireland final included.
