Thorbjorn Olesen could have been forgiven for thinking his name was already on the Turkish Airlines Open trophy after this huge slice of good fortune in round three.
Olesen surged six shots clear of the field after his sensational second-round 62 in Antalya, but he looked likely to open the door for the chasing pack when he pulled his tee shot to the par-three second on Saturday.
The young Dane was facing a tricky up-and-down from the left rough if his ball avoided the trees, but he was soon lining up a six-foot putt for birdie!
Olesen's ball took a kindly bounce off a tree branch which diverted it back towards the target, and it pitched softly on the putting surface before settling just beyond the pin.
The 26-year-old rattled in the birdie putt and went on to make two further twos in his 68 which left him seven strokes ahead of the field heading into the final round.
