Billy Horschel ended a 32-month winless run on the PGA Tour with a play-off victory over Jason Day at the AT&T Byron Nelson.
The former FedExCup champion posted a one-under 69 in tough conditions at TPC Four Seasons, mixing five birdies with four bogeys to join Day at the top of the leaderboard on 12 under.
Day then three-putted the first extra hole, missing his par-save from four feet, as Horschel tapped in for par to secure a first victory since the 2014 Tour Championship.
Taking a one-shot lead into the final round, Hahn missed a five-footer to save par at the second and saw Horschel drain a 15-footer at the next to grab the outright advantage.
Horschel three-putted the fifth but edged back ahead with a gain at the sixth, only to bogey the ninth to reach the turn tied for the lead with Hahn.
Hahn tapped in to match Day's birdie at the 10th and slotted in a 15-footer at the next, before all three players dropped a shot at the par-four 12th.
Horschel joined Hahn in bogeying the next but bounced back by holing a 60-footer at the 14th to move into a three-way tie for the lead, where Hahn posted a third blemish in as many holes.
The lead changed hands again when Day recovered from finding the trees off the 15th tee to hole out from the bunker for an unlikely birdie, only for the Australian to need three putts from the fringe at the par-five next.
A two-putt birdie from Horschel pulled him alongside Day with two holes to play, before the pair exchanged pars over the closing holes to take the contest to a second play-off in as many years.
Hahn almost holed out from the fairway on his way to a closing birdie to join midway leader Jason Kokrak on 10 under in joint-third, with Byeong Hun An part of a four-way tie for fifth.
World No 1 Dustin Johnson closed with a final-round 69 to finish in a share of 13th, while defending champion Sergio Garcia shot a four-over 74 to end the week on four under.
