There were not needed thankfully in Medinah, but you can re-live the Ryder Cup look with ProQuip's waterproof Trophy Suit, which now also comes in a special edition to commemorate Europe's magical win. They were also the secondary supplier to the USA Team at Celtic Manor, when their original outfits buckled under the wonderful Welsh weather Corey Pavin's team had to comically buy new waterproofs from the on-site megastore. In the new products, ProQuip's exclusive material is aimed at big as waterproof as possible but with the aim of being as quiet as possible for a silent swing and slim fitting so it doesn't bulk out in windy conditions and make swinging the club even more uncomfortable. On first wear the weight, or lack of it, is the first thing that strikes you, and comfort whilst swinging is not an issue in the slightest - ProQuip also insist you'll remain smart as it will not crease up when stuffed into the golf bag. ProQuip worked closely with Jose Maria Olazabal to make sure everything was made to his specifications, and as the saying goes if it's good enough for the Ryder Cup winners....
