World No 1 Dustin Johnson joins Claude Harmon as he discusses his technique and distance on his driving

World No 1 Dustin Johnson and defending champion Henrik Stenson were among the players to visit the Open Zone during another busy day at Royal Birkdale on Tuesday.

For the second day running, large crowds congregated throughout the day in the Southport sunshine to witness a number of the big-name contenders to stop by with the Sky Sports Team.

World No 1 Johnson came over to discuss the state of his driving with Claude Harmon, before whacking a couple on the range, while former Open champion John Daly visited to discuss the differences in the grooves on his big stick.

Stenson talked about the state of his game ahead of his title defence, while Lee Westwood and Ross Fisher came in to demonstrate ways to play hanging lies and how to adjust your balance to suit the location of the ball.

1999 Claret Jug winner Paul Lawrie chopped balls out the bunker and took questions from the audience, with Alex Noren flicking some irons and talking about his chances of a maiden major success.
