A fight at UFC 324 has been cancelled after American fighter Cameron Smotherman collapsed during the weigh-in on Friday.
Smotherman was due to fight fellow American Ricky Turcios in Las Vegas on Saturday as part of the undercard for Brit Paddy Pimblett's bout against Justin Gaethje.
The 28-year-old, due to take part in his fourth UFC contest, collapsed after registering his weight.
Smotherman took several steps away from the scales before collapsing onto the floor at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
He was attended to by UFC officials and doctors and had successfully weighed in at 135.5lbs before the incident occurred.
Smotherman posted a video later on Friday confirming that he is "completely ok" and insisting that a dramatic weight cut wasn't behind his collapse.
"I'm not entirely sure what happened," Smotherman said. "I see a lot of people online saying, 'oh, it's crazy weight cuts,' stuff like that.
"I genuinely didn't cut very much weight for this fight. I came in pretty low, but even over the course of this week I haven't cut much weight.
"I'm not entirely sure what happened and I have some more tests and stuff to take in the coming weeks to get to the bottom of it.
"But, you know, for all the people saying that I must've done a crazy cut or something like that, I've cut very, very little weight.
"I appreciate the concern. I'm completely ok and I'll hopefully be back soon."
