Brandon Ingram will miss the Los Angeles Lakers' next two games after spraining an ankle on Wednesday night.
The third-year wing hurt his left ankle in the first quarter of his team's win against San Antonio when he came down on the foot of the Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge after taking a jump shot.
It was reported he was using crutches after the game but also was able to move without them.
X-on rays Wednesday night were negative but it is understood that Ingram would undergo an MRI exam later on Thursday.
Ingram is averaging 15.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 30.8 minutes per game in 20 games.
The Lakers are at San Antonio on Friday then play at Memphis on Saturday. They return home to face Miami on Monday.
