Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic has taken the NBA by storm and the prodigy has already underlined his credentials as a potential MVP candidate in future.
The 19-year-old has already shown that he is not scared to step up to the mantle in big moments and in Sunday night's 123-120 defeat to the Toronto Raptors, the Slovenian put the league on alert once again as he claimed his own bit of NBA history.
Doncic became the first teenage player in history to score more than 30 points while recording a triple-double, as he posted numbers of 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists at the American Airlines Center.
The Mavericks star is one of only four rookies to achieve the feat - joining a list which includes Michael Jordan, Jason Kidd and Stephen Curry - and is the only one to do it more than once, having already recorded one earlier this season against the Milwaukee Bucks.
He eclipses a record set by LeBron James, who was the previous youngest person to achieve the feat, aged 20.
Doncic does not turn 20 until the end of February and the idea of how he may yet improve his game coming up against the world's best players on a night-to-night basis is tantalising.
