Philadelphia 76ers are set to sign veteran centre Greg Monroe for the rest of the season, according to multiple reports.

Monroe, 28, will be eligible for the Sixers' postseason roster and adds frontcourt depth behind All-Star center Joel Embiid, Boban Marjanovic and Amir Johnson.

Entering Wednesday night's game at Atlanta, Philadelphia held the No 3 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture with five games remaining.
