England head coach Tracey Neville has praised the Roses' defence in their Test match victory over Malawi which secured a series victory with a match to spare.
The hosts held off a late rally from the visitors to secure a 61-63 victory and make it back-to-back victories over the world No 6 side, following Friday's 66-60 success.
Neville called on her side to gain better control of the ball following the first Test match but singled out the defensive qualities her side showed at the Copper Box Arena.
"We needed to gain more possession for our attackers and I think our defence throughout the court was exceptional," Neville told Sky Sports.
"I would probably like a few more converted but we asked the girls to do a job and they did it. We caused some really good problems for Malawi."
England continue to build towards the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast next year and Neville credited the squad for the progression they are making on their "journey".
England narrowly missed out on the gold-medal match at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and Neville believes her side are desperate to make new history in the sport.
"These girls are really up for this. We talk about where we are on our journey and they are actually asking us for more - they are demanding more from the coaches as we are demanding more from them.
"I do feel the way they clinically finished that game off today was exceptional. There could have been a point in that third quarter where they just let Malawi back into the game.
"We have been asking them to play 60 minutes but these girls work hard in training. They put it in day in day out - they are used to this.
"Now we have just got to get them used to international netball, where (you need) consistent performances over three Test matches. We have got two out of two from these at the moment."
Kadeen Corbin celebrated her 50th cap in the victory against Malawi but after securing the tri-series win she was determined to secure the clean sweep.
"It was feisty out there," Corbin told Sky Sports. "Came out with the win and that is all that matters. Winning the series is what we want. Now it is about pushing on for that third Test and making sure we get that clean sweep"
Corbin described her appearance feat as an "amazing" achievement but said she had no immediate desires to stop there.
She added: "50 caps is the first stepping stone. To have 50 international caps is so amazing. I am so happy and I finally got there. I am going for fifty more at least!"
England and Malawi conclude their three-match series live on Sky Sports Action from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
