Michael Thomas catches 32-yard touchdown for New Orleans Saints

It was only Thursday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made one of the catches of the season.
However, New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas will be in contention after he caught a diving 32-yard touchdown catch, hanging on to the ball despite pressure in the end zone.
The second-round pick already has six touchdowns this season in an impressive first-year campaign, but this will surely be his favourite so far.
Battling with cornerback Tramaine Brock at the start of the fourth quarter, quarterback Drew Brees found Thomas on the right hand side of the field, and the wide receiver kept his eyes on the ball as he reeled it in, falling into the end zone for the score.
Thomas has established himself as one of Saints' leading receivers, and if he continues to make plays like this one, Brees will have no problem trusting him with the deep ball.
Thomas' TD came on a day when there were two 90+ yard touchdown scores. In the early games, Mike Wallace scored a 95-yard catch and run for the Baltimore Ravens against the Pittsburgh Steelers, before Jordan Todman returned the opening kick-off 99 yards to help the Indianapolis Colts beat the Green Bay Packers on the road for the first time since 1988.
