Brock Osweiler had to deal with more than just pass rushers and the playbook on Monday night.

During the Houston Texans' 27-20 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City, Osweiler was targeted by a green laser, which was repeatedly pointed at his helmet.

After the game, Osweiler said that he was aware of the laser, and that it had an impact on his ability to concentrate and throw the ball.

"It was just one small factor, but it certainly affected how I was playing and able to see downfield and whatnot," he said.

It has been a tough start to the season for Osweiler, who made a high-profile move to the Texans last summer following four years with the Denver Broncos.

The Azteca Stadium has seen lasers from the crowd before. Former Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard was targeted when playing for the American national team back in 2012.
