Tom Brady threw two touchdowns and ran one in from a yard as the New England Patriots pulled off a comfortable 30-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Brady was sacked five times in the first half as the Dallas defence held strong, but on the other side of the ball the Cowboys went over 18 minutes without a first down.
Brady ran in for his first rushing touchdown since 2012 before the half and then directed two further touchdown drives in the second half as the Patriots pulled away.
They now move to 5-0 on the season, while the Cowboys slip to 2-3, losing their third straight since starting quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant have been lost to injury.
Back-up QB Brandon Weeden lost his 11th in a row as a starter, throwing for just 188 yards off 39 attempts, with one interception.
Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals offense exploded for 28 points in the second quarter as they beat the Detroit Lions 42-17.
The Lions remain winless on the season and they benched quarterback Matthew Stafford after he threw a third interception of the day - he handed over to back-up Dan Orlovsky.
But by then the game was just about out of their hands, Palmer having thrown touchdown passes to Darren Fells, David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald, while Johnson also rushed for two scores.
Defense proved vital for the Denver Broncos as they edged to a 16-10 win over the Raiders in Oakland to move to 5-0 on the season.
Peyton Manning failed to throw a touchdown pass, but three field goals from Brandon McManus put them in front in the third quarter and Chris Harris then intercepted Derek Carr and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown to give them a lead they would never give up.
