As the Buffalo Bills prepare to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley on Sunday, the Bills head coach Rex Ryan says his side will find consistency

Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan refused to discuss the future of Percy Harvin after reports suggested the injured wide receiver could quit the game.

The 28-year-old has been sidelined with a lingering hip injury that ruled him out of Sunday's 34-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Harvin has not travelled to London for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with head coach Ryan citing personal reasons earlier in the week, and he would not be pressed on the issue when asked for an update.

"I'm not going to say anything more than what we said yesterday about it," Ryan said. "I don't know where he is right now."

General manager Doug Whaley also failed to shed more light on the issue, saying: "There's a lot of other things that are going on, it's just not strictly injury related."

Harvin's continued absence is one of a number of concerns for the Bills. Ryan confirmed EJ Manuel would stand in for quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who continues his recovery from a knee injury.

He adds to an absentee list that includes Harvin, wide receiver Sammy Watkins (ankle), Kyle Williams (knee), Karlos Williams and Seantrel Henderson (both concussion).

Several Jacksonville Jaguars players are hoping to take in a football match while they are in London

The Bills come into the game having won three and lost three this season. Indeed, they have missed the play-offs for 15 consecutive seasons, the NFL's longest active play-off drought.

Over that stretch, they have had just two winning seasons - 9-7 finishes in 2004 and 2014. The injuries are not helping things, but Ryan is confident his side will find some consistency soon.

We'll face the music, we have no problem facing the music. We're obviously disappointed.

"We'll face the music, we have no problem facing the music," he said. "We're obviously disappointed. We're disappointing ourselves and our fans and we get all that.

"We haven't had the results we've wanted - there's no question of that. But it's not due to lack of effort, it's just the results just haven't been what we want them to be.

"I truly believe that we're getting better and it's getting ready to happen just around the corner."
