Matt Forte's future with Chicago Bears unclear

Matt Forte says he's relaxed about his future despite the emergence of rookie Jeremy Langford in the Chicago Bears line-up.
Forte is currently sidelined with a medial ligament sprain and in his absence, Langford has turned in a number of impressive displays from running back.
Forte is in the final year of his contract and talk has inevitably surfaced over his future with the Bears.
"The NFL is, 'What have you done for me lately?'," said Forte. "I've been out a few games and Jeremy has done well stepping in for me. So everybody is always looking for the next best thing.
"With [me] being in my contract year, it's obvious that that's the storyline that will come up.
"Chicago is kind of like that: 'Well, see ya later, Matt.' I'm like, 'Man, I've been here going on eight years - y'all just going to throw me to the side like that?'
"But that's the nature of the NFL. And I don't mind. I will play wherever I end up after that."
Forte was enjoying an excellent season prior to his injury - accounting for 32 per cent of the Bears' offence.
But new general manager Ryan Pace shown no signs of extending Forte's contract in the off-season, with the 29-year-old's current deal set to expire in March.
And with Langford rushing for 324 yards from scrimmage over the past two weeks for the Bears, it remains to be seen whether they see the need to extend Forte's eight-year spell with the club.
