The Denver Broncos paraded the Vince Lombardi trophy to their hometown fans

Hundreds of thousands of Broncos fans lined the streets of Denver on Tuesday for a parade and rally to welcome home the team after their victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos captured their third NFL championship on Sunday with the 24-10 victory thanks largely to an all-consuming defense, led by MVP linebacker Von Miller.

Miller was on board the first fire truck to lead the parade alongside Peyton Manning, who became the first starting quarterback to win the Super Bowl with two different franchises.

But the loudest cheers were saved for Miller, who forced two fumbles from Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
