Eli Apple has revealed why he almost didn't pick up the phone call from the New York Giants.
The Ohio State cornerback thought his friends were playing a prank on him when the Giants phoned him about his selection.
But thankfully Apple eventually took the call and would be confirmed as the 10th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
The 20-year-old told Sky Sports News' Richard Graves about the moment he received the call from New York.
