A week after earning 204 yards and two touchdowns on the ground against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ajayi went off the races again, to the tune of 214 yards off 29 attempts, and one TD.
In doing so, he became only the fourth running back in the history of the NFL to rush for 200 yards in consecutive games, joining OJ Simpson (1973, 1976), Earl Campbell (1980), and former Dolphin Ricky Williams (2002).
Ajayi had to leave the game late on suffering from cramp, but the Dolphins held on to win, with Ajayi's back-up, Damien Williams, also earning a 12-yard touchdown.
