Aaron Rodgers added yet another clutch last-minute play to his impressive collection as he led Green Bay to a thrilling victory over Chicago at a freezing Soldier Field.
A bruising NFC North encounter looked to be heading for overtime after the Bears hit back from 27-10 down to level the scores with touchdowns for the returning Alshon Jeffery and Jordan Howard before Connor Barth kicked a 22-yard field goal with just 83 seconds remaining.
The game remained tied with 31 seconds left and the Packers facing a 3rd and 11 on their own 26-yard line, but Rodgers then produced his biggest play of a game in which he was held without a touchdown pass.
The Green Bay quarterback went for broke with a huge pass downfield towards his "go to" wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who stole a yard on Bears cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc and completed a sensational catch before crashing to the turf at Chicago's 14-yard line.
Rodgers, who has been struggling with hamstring and calf problems in recent weeks, got to the line of scrimmage in time to spike the ball and stop the clock with just three seconds left, and Mason Crosby held his nerve to split the uprights from 22 yards and take the Packers to 8-6 - just a game behind division leaders Detroit.
