The Dallas Cowboys are preparing for Thursday's Thanksgiving test against the Los Angeles Chargers, with food playing a big part in the pre-match preparations.

The NFL giants take on the Los Angeles Chargers on the national holiday, hoping the Cowboys' star can rise again following two straight defeats.

Dallas left guard Jonathan Cooper is one of many relishing the variety of food that will on be offer to celebrate the occasion.

"Oh man, it's full of food! Maybe a couple of types of turkey, whether it's baked or fried or whatever," he said.

"Everything you can think of, we'll probably have."
