Louis Smith slips off the pommel horse

Smith erred on the pommel horse routine meaning Team GB (Smith, Max Whitlock, Kristian Thomas, Nile Wilson and Brinn Bevan) finished with 269.725 points.
It wasn't enough to overtake China, who finished third and took bronze with a score of 271.122 points while Japan took gold.
At London 2012, Smith was part of the Great Britain team that won bronze in the team event. He is the reigning pommel horse European champion.
