Orla Chennaoui reports from the Olympic Park, as builders work flat out to get venues ready.

Construction work is still ongoing at the Olympic Park as officials strive to ensure venues and facilities are ready before the Games start on August 5, reports Orla Channaoui from Rio.

While arenas look ready to go from the outside just six days out from the event's start, a Sky Sports News HQ report shows all is not as well as it may seem.

A tour around the Olympic Park has shown there is still plenty of work to be done, with builders still working flat out.

Pictures show parts of the park still looking essentially like a construction site, with open manhole covers and pipes being laid, while the toilets were still being put together in the velodrome as the athletes took to the track for warm-ups and training.

There have already been questions asked over the readiness of the Olympic village, with Australian athletes refusing to occupy their building without changes being made before they had to evacuate their lodgings because of a small fire.
