We have a busy day's racing on Saturday with action from Ascot, Lingfield and Newcastle, live on Sky Sports Racing...

3.35 Ascot - Top chasers Jonbon and Pic D'Orhy lock horns

The feature Betfair Ascot Chase looks a cracker as top-class duo Jonbon and Pic D'Orhy clash over two miles and five furlongs.

The Nicky Henderson-trained Jonbon is an 11-time Grade One winner who is yet to finish out of the first two in his 26-race career. A remarkable servant for his connections, he showed he retains all his enthusiasm when claiming the Clarence House Chase here last month. He is expected to relish the step up in trip and take his course record to four from four under Nico de Boinville.

Pic D'Orhy is a dual winner of this race having taken the last two renewals including when readily beating Corbetts Cross last year. Harry Cobden knows him well and he rates a huge danger if able to dominate from the front. Now an 11-year-old, he is another who has been a credit to his team racking up nearly £1m in prize money.

Alan King's Edwardstone landed the Silviniaco Conti on his last start but will need to step forward if he is to beat the two main protagonists.

1.50 Ascot - Thomas Mor and The Jukebox Kid headline Reynoldstown quartet

Classy pair Thomas Mor and The Jukebox Kid headline a field of four runners for the Grade Two Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot.

The Philip Hobbs and Johnson White team have enjoyed a successful spell, and Thomas Mor will be fancied to go well under new pilot Harry Cobden. A course winner in November, he chased home Kitzbuhel in the Grade One Kauto Star Novices' Chase on Boxing Day and a repeat of that would see him tough to beat.

Ben Pauling took this prize with Henry's Friend in 2024, and The Jukebox Kid looks poised to go close under Ben Jones. He comfortably defied a mark of 130 when winning a course-and-distance handicap last month and must be feared back against his fellow novices.

Colin and Joe Tizzard have an excellent record in this contest winning it on four occasions since 2019 and Western Knight is well worth a mention. He has improved with each start over fences and this three-mile distance ought to bring out further progression.

Crest Of Fortune completes the field.

3.00 Ascot - Montregard, Nocte Volatus and Jipcot feature

A typically-competitive Betfair Swinley Handicap Chase where Montregard and Nocte Volatus feature among 15 runners.

Tom Lacey looks to have a strong hand with two well-fancied runners Montregard and Nocte Volatus. The former made a winning return over this track and trip in November and bounced back from a lesser effort when chasing home The Jukebox Kid here last time. A three-pound rise in the weights seems fair.

Nocte Volatus, now an 11-year-old, arrives on a hat-trick having scored in a pair of veterans' chases and he looks an each-way contender for Sam Sheppard.

Jipcot can be a little hit and miss but got off the mark over fences at Leicester on his last start and he merits respect under Kielan Woods.

Previous winner of this Threeunderthrufive and Dan Skelton's Joyeux Machin can also have a say.
