Lowther third set for step up to seven

David Simcock is likely to step Hello Glory up in trip for her next race after a fine run in defeat in the Lowther Stakes. David Simcock's filly made plenty of ground late on before taking third place behind the unbeaten Best Terms. Hello Glory holds an entry in the Cheveley Park Stakes, but Simcock is looking at the Group Three Sakhee Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket on September 23 as a potentially easier alternative. "We were very pleased as I think the Lowther was a very competitive race," Simcock told At The Races. "I was delighted with how she stayed on, she was the only horse who came from the back who actually got in the race. "She's improving, I think we'll step her up to seven furlongs next time and look at something like the Oh So Sharp."
