Martin Dwyer could return to the saddle by the end of the month after he suffered an arm injury at Wolverhampton on Tuesday.
Dwyer was taken to New Cross Hospital, in Wolverhampton, when he was unseated from Bilash in a bad collision which left weighing-room colleague Connor Beasley needing surgery on a fractured skull.
The Derby-winning jockey was much more fortunate than Beasley as X-rays revealed only swelling to his left forearm.
"He's in good order, all things considered," said the jockey's agent Simon Dodds.
"He's a bit battered and bruised but he was very lucky in the grand scheme of things.
"He's going to miss some good rides, and has been very busy of late, but hopefully he'll be back in two weeks' time."
