REDOUBTABLE beat Salerno easily here last October but the placings were reversed in December. Those races were over a much shorter trip but Lee Couchenour’s gelding has the best recent form and should take all the beating in another dire affair. Pleasant Lee went backwards last year and it’s asking a lot of him to return to former glories after almost a year away from the track. Royal Flavor won over 7f here in November but is another who may need this.
