Verdict
Peppertree Lane finally came good in a maiden hurdle at Fakenham last month but his attacking style may not be as well suited to this more galloping track and the concession of 7lb to ART BROKER will also count against the eight-year-old. Henry Daly's charge faded into third up the Towcester hill when favourite last time but that still gives him the beating of the top weight on a line through fifth Big Bad Boo. Maadraa won twice on the Flat but his hurdling career has yet to really take off and he was easily brushed aside again at Newton Abbot last time.
