      Verdict

He's going to be plenty short enough but SKYE BUT N BEN is taken to gain revenge on Hammer, with Ajman likely to figure prominently too. Our selection has been in grand form of late, landing a gamble at Hereford before justifying short odds to carry a penalty to success last time. He's officially now rated 108 which gives him plenty in hand and connections' decision to drop into this grade can be rewarded with victory. There is a note of caution attached though, as on their meeting in April Alison Thorpe's Hammer has his beating. That day the gelding gave Skye But N Ben weight and a beating but he's since regressed whilst the latter has come forward and the percentage call is to stick with the in-form horse. Evan Williams has his string in good order and Ajman must be considered as one who is lightly raced over obstacles. He's not without claims if stepping up and is preferred to Just Mossie, for whom the visor isn't expected to make enough of a difference. Stravita wasn't special on the flat but may win a small race in time whilst Wait For The Light has been well beaten off marks in the eighties of late and is opposed as we return to Skye But N Ben.
