The vote here goes to Adaptation ahead of Easy Lover and Hollow Ridge. Much as Adaptation was slightly disappointing at Newmarket last time, that run came after a three-month layoff and she left the impression that a step up to today's trip would help. She can go well today. Easy Lover was found out in Group 3 company last time but had earlier run well at Listed level and is respected. This is the minimum that Hollow Ridge will need in terms of distance this season but she showed enough in winning on her debut to be considered today, and her stable has won this three times in the last five years. On all that we have so far seen, these would appear to be the leading players, with the selection being Adaptation.
