Whistledown won on fast ground at Nottingham having earlier finished runner-up to Sagittarius in a maiden at Lingfield. The latter is one of several handicapping for the first time but ANGLE LAND is preferred on her victory in soft going at Windsor last month. Romantic Time had the measure of Fiji Gold when scoring at Yarmouth recently but Jastar was still well beaten when runner-up over track and trip earlier. Black Hill Storm will find this tougher than the claimer he won at Catterick, though it was soft going on that occasion.
