      Verdict

      UNITED (NAP) won the Grade 2 San Marcos Stakes in game fashion here at the start of February when Multiplier was only fifth, though they finished in a bunch that day. He’s a relative latecomer to Dirt racing but clearly enjoys the surface. Originaire probably produced a career-best on Turf here last time so warrants respect while Rockemperor was sixth in the French Derby last year so is no mug. He has placed in two of his three runs in the States and should be winning soon. Desert Stone should also go well having contested a Grade 1 since taking a Grade 2 over track and trip at the start of the year.
