Winter Power is looking to regain the sort of form that won her last year’s Nunthorpe here having landed this Listed sprint before that. She’s clear at the weights but hasn’t shown much encouragement so far this season and is taken on with the unbeaten ROYAL ACLAIM. The latter landed the odds at Bath with the minimum of fuss on her reappearance and entries at the highest level later in the season suggest James Tate’s filly will prove competitive in this grade. Last year’s Flying Childers winner Caturra will appreciate the fast ground and can figure while the likes of Justanotherbottle, Korker and City Walk, who beat Makanah at Newcastle, have all been winning competitive handicaps.
