Verdict

Tom Scudamore: "I've told the owners to go away and enjoy the video as I've seen a lot of bubbles burst, but he did it very nicely, very professionally, and he's got the right attitude. So you could say the dream is still on. I've only ridden him twice and I was very impressed with him when he won at Fontwell. You can say all you like about those in behind, but he certainly made my job a lot easier."

David Pipe: "When he ran at Fontwell, we weren't sure he'd get the trip, but he's certainly not slow. He has plenty of pace. We had a very good season with our young horses last year and he was one we liked. He didn't bring his A-game at Ayr in January when he fell, and after that we decided to keep him as a novice this year. We could well come back here for the Open meeting for a similar race and we have two and a half miles as an option, too. He was bought as a three-mile chaser and he should mature into a good one."
