Verdict

Charlie McBride: "We thought we'd give him a break in the summer and bring him back at this time of year, but when we turned him out in the field the rains came, which was very frustrating. Richard Hughes rode him last time at Newmarket and thankfully looked after him as, although they gave the ground as good, he felt it was on the fast side. He'll definitely be better the softer it is. We'll put him in the November Handicap, but after his last run we just wanted to get this out of the way. We've had two or three enquiries about him to go jumping but the boys want to hang on to him, I think he'll make a better four-year-old - his relatives got better as they got older."
