John Butler: "He's a peculiar horse and has his moments. He's a front-runner and it's a sprint, so anything can happen. It's harder to go faster than Dave. He's pretty fast over four, the race suited, he had a change of headgear and we freshened him up after his last run. This was the plan and it was a good pot."
